Ashlee Piper of the popular cruelty free food and fashion blog, Little Foxes, and I are going to whip up some delicious plant-based foods on stage at the 2016 Veggie Fest in Lisle, IL. The menu is looking tasty! We’ll be cooking the following summer menu items live on stage and will have samples for you to enjoy after the demo is complete!
Double A’s Veggie Fest Menu
- Ashlee’s Adobo-Spiced Walnut “Chorizo” Tostadas – Crispy, savory, creamy – tostadas allow you to have it all! And these are loaded with quick-refried black beans, crunchy fresh veggies, spiced crema, and house-made walnut chorizo seasoned with a tasty blend of cumin, chili powder, and smoky paprika. Enjoy with a cold beer, dreams of sandy beaches, and warm sun.
- Ashley’s Dark Chocolate”Nice Cream” – A refreshing take on gelato made with dark chocolate cocoa, frozen banana, Madagascar vanilla and sweetened with ripe dates. A cool treat to enjoy after a summer meal. Great for your entire family, even baby!
